Celebrate 75 years of Bourkevale Community Centre
Join us in celebrating 75 years of Bourkevale Community Centre on October 19, 2024! The event kicks off with an Open House from 2 to 4 PM, where you can enjoy cake, refreshments, artifacts, and pictures—all for free! More info. In the evening, from 7 to 11 PM, there will be a dance with live music, snacks, a cash bar, and a 50/50 draw. Tickets for the dance are $15 at the door. More info. Our programs are back in full swing, check out: Yoga – every Tuesday from 7 – 8 pm. Board Game Night – second & fourth Thursday 7 – 9pm. Open Board Positions We’re looking to fill the following board positions: Special Events Coordinator – Lead process in the preparation, implementation, and execution of Bourkevale’s Special Events. Wednesday Evening Bike Rides are back!
Every Wednesday at 7pm we’ll leave from the Community centre and explore our neighbourhood and other parts of the city connected by bike paths. This is a relaxed ride that only goes as fast as our slowest rider. Come join us and meet your neighbours and discover how connected our community is to bike infrastructure throughout the city. All rides will return to the Bourkevale Community Centre at 8pm unless otherwise stated. All riders are welcome, Bikes need to be in good working condition and children under the age of 18 must wear a helmet.

Winter is Back!
It looks like winter is back, hurray! The volunteers at Bourkevale Community Centre will be working hard to get your regularly scheduled winter programming back up and running. The outdoor rinks and canteen should be back later this week, check our social media for the latest updates. Ski trails will be back just as soon as mother nature sends a little more snow our way.
