Bourkevale Community Centre provides Youth Hockey Programs through the St. James-Assiniboia Minor Hockey Association under the umbrella of the Hockey Winnipeg.

Bourkevale traditionally hosts two to four youth hockey teams per season that play games indoors but practice regularly at the club’s outdoor ice rinks. Bourkevale’s 9A1 hockey team won the city championship in 2010/11 and their pennant is displayed proudly in the club’s skate room.
Bourkevale also runs weekly introduction to hockey sessions for children aged 5-9 every Sunday at 2-3 PM throughout February and March. Please reach out to [email protected] to register of feel free to simply drop in.
