Bourkevale Ski Library
The Bourkevale Ski Library is open permanently and available to use whenever our canteen is open:
Mon-Fri 6-9 pm & Sat-Sun 1-9pm
The Bourkvale Ski Library is free to use. The equipment can be used for up to 1 hour and is available on a first come, first served basis.
The skis, poles, and boots have to be signed out at the Canteen, footwear must be left in the Bourkevale Skate Room while equipment is in use, and the equipment is for use on Bourkevale Community Centre property.
We have a full range of ski boot sizes from youth to adult, as well as skis that strap on directly to children’s snow boots.
Ski our cross country ski loop just beyond the north rink that is regularly groomed and ready to go for a great skiing experience. Beginner friendly!
The Bourkevale Ski Library was recently featured in the press including the Winnipeg Free Press, CBC News, and CTV News.
Come out and enjoy some winter skiing fun!
The Bourkevale Ski Library was established in 2023 and is a winter program to improve accessibility for all folks who want to participate in winter activities in our community. BCC accepts donations of gently used skis and skates for our communities use – See our Canteen staff or contact us for more details.
