Open Board Positions
We’re looking to fill the following board positions:
Special Events Coordinator – Lead process in the preparation, implementation, and execution of Bourkevale’s Special Events. This person will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator (Kelly) and will be supported by various planning committees.
Secretary – Attend all board meetings (1x a month), record and distribute meeting minutes. Support with agendas, as needed. Strong computer skills are definitely an asset in this role.
Program Coordinator – Bourkevale runs a lot of programs and we need a point of contact for every program. This role will work closely with the Hall Rental Coordinator (Nan) to manage scheduling.
Canteen Coordinator – This position is responsible for the canteen operations in the winter months. This includes maintaining inventory, customer service, scheduling staff and monthly deposits.
Playgroup Coordinator – Facilitate a casual, drop-in playtime for neighbourhood parents with babies and young children. Typically the playgroup has run Wednesdays from 9-11:00am, but there is flexibility in the timing.
