SUMMARY:Bourkevale Pattern Dance
DESCRIPTION:Pay at the door. \n\n\n\nOur type of dance is “couple pattern dancing”. Some of the dance steps are similar to steps in single line dance\, except we move in a line around the outside of a dance floor\, leaving the centre open for regular couple dance\, like foxtrot\, waltz\, polka\, etc. \n\n\n\nWe use old time/country western music which may be different from used at line dance. Couples learn a sequence of dance steps for each pattern (commit to memory) so we can all do the same same steps in the line\, just by naming the pattern. \n\n\n\nWe usually ask new dancers who want to attend\, already know how to do the basic social dance steps: fox\, waltz\, polka. \n\n\n\nPattern dance is Bourkevale’s longest running program!

SUMMARY:Yellow Ribbon - Wednesday Evening Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Tonight we’ll head west to bike along Sturgeon Creek and the Yellow Ribbon Trail. This is a longer ride with no planned stops and will see us return to the Community Centre shortly after 8pm.  \n\n\n\nWhat we’ll travel on \n\n\n\nSlow roads (30km)\, residential streets for 4 blocks\, paths shared with pedestrians\, controlled intersections.
